Community youth in reclaim identity and celebrate the past through new eyes. This exciting new multi-arts program will bring together young people and elders in the community to dialogue on past, present and future, enabling young people to find and create their own narrative through oral tradition, written word, music, dance and media arts. find and create their own narrative to realize that theirs is part of a larger story.

Speak, Write, Express + Melody 'n Motion = LILA
LILA is a free after-school program for boys and girls (ages 12-17) with 2 tracks: "Speak,Write, Express" and "Melody in Motion," which merges and culminates in collaborative theater experience called Lila. Students meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 5:30 PM  for 24 (2-hour) sessions at 125-07 101 Avenue, Richmond Hill, NY 11419.  Program supplies and refreshments provided.
