PROGRAM: Spectacular Outdoor Pageant of decorative floats called, Tadjahs, with processional Tassa drumming in a 'passion play' commemorating the Martyrdom of Imam Hosain at the Battle of Karbala, with Recitations of The Marsiyas of Anis.

College and public school students invited to make site-visits to learn the cultural history of Hosay from elders, artists and scholars, with hands-on activities in Tadjah building and Tassa drumming at the Imambara “yard” in Richmond Hill, Queens.
